Artists Reception: August 21, 2014 at Stunningly Strange Gallery, Edmonds, WA

Sometimes the most interesting stories come in the smallest of packages. This summer, Seattle Handmade and Stunningly Strange Gallery in Edmonds, WA host a creative challenge of diminutive proportions!

Participating local artists from all over the Puget Sound were challenged to create a TINY work of art, no larger than 6” with an accompanying story so SMALL, it can be told in less than 200 words.

Join us as we reveal their work in an open-to-the-public artists reception at the fabulous Stunningly Strange Gallery during the Edmonds Art Walk, Thursday August 21, 2014 5pm – 8pm.

All artwork will continue to be available for purchase through September 17th at the gallery.

Blogger's Summer Camp
Blogger’s Summer Camp is NEXT Friday, June 14, 2013!
Will YOU be there?

Our friends at School House Craft have put together panels of some of your favorite PNW bloggers! You’ll find out all about how they got started, their advice for creating a solid brand, the lessons they’ve learned about building an audience, how they manage their blog / life balance, and of course, tips on making money with a creative blog. You’ll even have a chance to sit down and discuss your projects with them during the luncheon round-table discussions! How awesome is that?

From the SchoolHouseCraft website:

Panel One: How to Make Time to Blog
During our first panel discussion, we’ll have some real talk with some of our area’s most experienced bloggers and web professionals about how they find the time manage a growing blog and have a balanced life. Between blog post scheduling, guest bloggers, photograph editing, and seeing your loved ones, it can all become very overwhelming very fast.

Panel Two: How to Monetize Your Blog
So what does it really take to make money with your blog? During this panel discussion, we’ll ask some of our favorite bloggers about their experiences with selling advertising space, affiliate programs, promoting products for profit, and the truth behind some of the more prevalent myths floating around the internet about monetizing your blog.

The best part? Registration is only $45 per person and includes the entire day’s program along with a healthy lunch buffet that will include vegan, omni, and gluten-free options. Yum!

Panel moderator: Marlo M. of etsyRAIN and IMakeCuteStuff.com
